Medan Tour – Pakej Famili

Kandungan ruang ini menyenaraikan lokasi-lokasi pelancongan yang boleh menjadi pilihan bagi mereka sekeluarga. Terdapat banyak lagi tempat-tempat menarik/tumpuan pelancongan tetapi akan ditulis dalam ruang-ruang post lain.

Kota Medan (Medan City)

Medan is the capital of the North Sumatra province in Indonesia. Located on the northern coast, Medan is the third largest city in Indonesia and the largest Indonesian city outside Java.

Here in Medan, you can enjoy some of the famous places like Merdeka Walk, Merdeka Square, Maimon Palace, Grand Mosque of Sultan Deli, Rahmat International Wildlife Museum, Taman Alam Lumbini and many others.

But don’t forget too to enjoy the local food products like Bika Ambom Zulaikan for its famous Indonesian traditional cake and Paten for its famous local snacks made from peanuts.


Berastagi

Berastagi is about 3 hours drive from Kota Medan. It is located on the beautiful highlands of North Sumatra, where the stunning Sipiso-piso Waterfall is located. It is surrounded by majestic mountains and penetrable jungle. And from Berastagi, you can have a clear view of Mount Sinabung, Mount Sibayak, and Lake Toba.

Berastagi is well-known for its variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The fruits are famed throughout Indonesia for its delicious taste and grown only in Berastagi region. There are also horse riding available up and down the hill for those interested in taking a stroll round the city.


Samosir Island (Lake Toba)

Samosir Island, in the middle of Lake Toba, is the size of Singapore. Lake Toba is the largest and deepest volcanic lake in the world. It was formed some 100,000 years ago after an enormous volcanic eruption so great that it created the largest lake in Southeast Asia.

It is the home of Batak people. The island offers fresh air and relaxation to travelers who could use a break. The setting is truly superb, making it a popular getaway in a perfect setting for those looking simply to relax.

What else you can do here? Tomok Village is one of the famous places to visit. Here you can see the old grave stone of King Sidabutar and visit souvenir shops nearby. Another frequently visited place is Ambarita Village for its famous stone chairs and execution place of King Siallagan and the traditional house of Batak tribe.


Parapat

Parapat is a small town in North Sumatra province on the shore of Lake Toba. It is the primary transit point by boat for visitors going to Samosir Island.

Parapat is connected to Tomok and Tuk Tuk on the Samosir Island by a ferry that runs every hour and the last trip ia at 19:00. The place to catch the ferry to Tuk Tuk is called "Tiga Raja" harbour/jetty. The ferry ride over the lake is fantastic and just truly peaceful.

However, you can also opt to stay here for a night before transferring to Samosir Island. Parapat is an interesting town with a nice market, lots of hotels and a few restaurants in the main street. At night, you can take evening walk, shop or enjoy the night life of Lake Toba. Every saturday there is a busy market at Parapat, right at the shore of Lake Toba, called Tigaraja Market. Across the street is the part of the market where clothes and other goods are being sold.


Gundaling Hill 

Gundaling Hill with an altitude of 1575 M above sea level is 3 km from the city Brastagi. Most people come here to see the panorama of Berastagi town and the two active volcanoes; Sibayak and Sinabung. On the top of the hill, there are beautiful gardens, leisure and sports facilities.


Simarjarunjung Hill

Along the sides of the road to/from Berastagi, you can appreciate very beautiful scenery of Lake Toba panorama and drive through lush greenery and plantations of coffee and fruits. On a hill top of Simarjarunjung, you can stop by a place to have a cup of ginger tea and fried bananas.


Mikie Holiday Funland

Mikie Holiday Funland is a theme park located in Berastagi. It has an indoor and outdoor recreation and game facilities over 30 different kinds of attractions for children and adults.


HillPark GreenHill City

HillPark at Greenhill City is located at Sibolangit, Berastagi nearly 50 km from Medan. It is the biggest theme park on the island of Sumatra. It offers wide varieties of excellent fun rides and other forms of entertainment with exciting three themes;  the Lost City, the Heritage and Toon Town.

Next to the HillPark is the GreenHill City Retail Area that consists of mini-market, shops, restaurants and cafes including Garuda, Paparons Pizza, KFC, California Fried Chicken and Soup Ikan. Shopping centers are available like the Macan Mart and other retail shops. This is where most visitors from the HillPark GreenHill City dine since it has wider choices compared to the ones inside the Theme Parks.

  4. Entrance fees as mentioned in the itinerary

Tour Package Exclusive of:
  1. All personal expenses such as room service, laundry, facsimile, telephone etc.
  2. Any other optional tours and entrance fees, which are not specified in the itinerary unless agreed during the tour

Payment Terms:
  1. All trips require a deposit of 50% price per pax (per person). The deposit will confirm your reservation until 3 weeks prior to trip departure, at which time the balance of the payment is due
  2. Balance of payment is due 3 weeks prior to departure
  3. Payment may be made by cash or bank transfer

Tips - How to Travel to Medan

In accordance with the Regulation of Minister of Law and Human Right of the Republic of Indonesia Number 26, 2013, citizen from 61 countries and 1 region are eligible for obtaining Visa on Arrival (VOA).

This visa can be obtained directly when you are landed at the certain airports and seaport in Indonesia regardless of the purpose of your visits (Business, Tourist, Social). The maximum stays permitted for the visa on arrival is 30 days. If you plan to stay longer than 30 days, you need to mention your intention to stay longer. Visa on Arrival can be extended for another 30 days.

The general requirements for Visa On Arrival are:
  1. Expiration date of the applicant’s passport must be at least 6 (six) months at the date of entry
  2. Round-trip airplane ticket
  3. Fee
